Re: Rantypants
Need a rantypants! Being in the middle of a family situation. Not even my family. Getting passive aggressive texts in the middle of the night, and one just now, after not being able to make a family event, even though it wasn’t my choice not to go. Seems like the family member may be blaming me. So ...

Re: PS5 for birthday present - slightly desperate
I caved after this and bought Overcooked. I would have gone for R&C, but it’s not multiplayer. But no more now. Unless I can find a really good golf game (I think EA Sports may do the trick, and the PS is standard model so can take the discs). Just some customized wrapping paper and alllll done....

Re: PS5 for birthday present - slightly desperate
I actually really don't know Playstation games so well. I only ever really played Final Fantasy, as I'm more of a Nintendo gal myself! But I bought Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed, so, ahhhh, I'm just delighted that the birthday is all sorted! And I got him some colourful socks. True love!

PS5 for birthday present - slightly desperate
Hi all So, I want to get a PS5 as a birthday present for next month. Now, these guys have been a disaster to get, and time is running out. I have seen some people reselling them for quite a lot more than the RRP. While I really don’t like this practice, I’m kind of thinking about it, as it really is...

Re: Do we need more Borises in the world?
I like Boris from his days on Have I Got News For You. As a glorious leader however, maaaaaaybe he wasn’t the best pick of the bunch.
Borisino is a great name though.

Awwww. The cuteness!!
Yeah, I am also at the whim of my cats. Despite my very stern voice, which I’m pretty sure that they laugh at in cat language.
These guys.

Re: Sunshine and kittens and freshly cut grass
A nice thing happened yesterday. I realised en route that I was too early by complete accident for an appt in Dublin so I made a snap decision and stopped off unexpectedly at the Hill of Tara to while away some time. There was warm sunshine, vast open meadows freshly mown, blue skies, happy people ...

Sunshine and kittens and freshly cut grass
Does this exist already? A thread to discuss nice things! I’m having a nice day. Just back from a week on holidays, working a week, and then another week of holidays. I just dotted all of the T’s, and crossed all of the I’s on a contract for a new job starting in just under two months. Just have to ...

Re: Will you travel abroad this summer?
Yuss! I’m heading home for a trip to Ireland next week, and cannot wait to get on a plane! I used to hate flying as I did it a fair bit for work pre-Covid, but now I just miss the atmosphere of the airport, the hustle and bustle, and, yes, even the check in and security parts! Will head off again pr...

Hi Guburnor So, this is what I was talking about earlier. On the mobile site, I see the username just on the top of top of the post, and quite close to the end of the previous post, but my lazy eyes just scroll over this this and onto the thread title (in this instance Re: Will this place take over ...

Re: Will this place take over from Boards?
Thanks Gubernor
I’ll post a screenshot in the new Helpdesk thread, probably after work, but, basically, on the mobile site, the thread name appears above each post in a thread in larger font than the username (which is above the thread name), and it’s a bit distracting. Clear as mud?

Re: Will this place take over from Boards?
I’ve been a member of boards for over 12 years now, and, whilst it’s still my go to place for internet dossing, I don’t really post anymore, as, for me, the community spirit isn’t there so much (a few threads excepted), and there are too many posters just spoiling for an argument. The new layout als...
