Interceptor would be closer in comfort... and with more character than a Deau.

Connemara was quiet when we did it in May/June, so I'm surprised to see they're upgrading.

Re: 5G broadband: good idea or too soon?

You're completely swallowing the marketing hype, theoretical speeds are never obtainable, remember we saw a few hundred mbit tech demonstrations of 4G. These are only achievable in a test environment with only one device connected to the cell and they only need to do it once. You cannot compare fib...

Re: 5G broadband: good idea or too soon?

Thanks all for your responses. I think the experience would be totally different to 4G shortcomings. 5G is 10 times faster, and I'd be looking at a tech install on an outside wall. Three claim 250mbps. At the moment this is equal to the 'up to' speed on my Virgin plan, but the reality is significant...

5G broadband: good idea or too soon?

I'm thinking of switching from my expensive Virgin fibre broadband to Three 5G, thus saving €24 a month.

Has anyone tried this? Is it any good? Fast and reliable? Or is it a turkey?

Re: Chinese alarm disk lock

Just don't. I bought this one as a casual lock, for running into the shops, short stays etc. Oh it goes off alright, but this morning I left it on the saddle for a minute and when I bumped against the bike it fell off. Shattered like a wine glasss😭 Looks like a cast iron body. Isn't the Oxford made...

Forget about streaming BBC iPlayer, Amazon Prime UK, etc. www.rlsbb.ru/ scene-rls.net/ www.scnsrc.me/ and a million other sites exist and you can download whatever you want to watch a few hours after that air on USA TV . Get a rapidgator.net/ sub and get downloading in crystal clear 1080p or 4K Do ...

Wrexham thugs, apparently.

It's a pity that the actions of a handful of imported morons can dominate the narrative around a game peacefully enjoyed by 37,000+ people and creating a spectacle almost never seen in Irish sport.

But it suits some ...

Do you ride in winter? What's the deal on road salt in different counties?

I'd be happy to take the cold provided I knew the bike wasn't being rotted from under me -- and I don't want to have to wash it every time. (I use ACF treatment and will be doing that soon.)

Are there any positive arguments, apart from seat height for seniors, in favour of SUVs of any stripe?

Re: Last time you were called out for owning some cheap-ass item

I was chatting with a group of friends when one recoiled in horror when he spotted that my deck shoes were Lidl, and not shockingly priced Dubarry.

I was unapologetic, as they fulfilled all deck shoe-related requirements.
