Re: And to all a good night.

Dya know what, this is the perfect thread for it. When boards originally imploded this could have become one of the finest little sites in Ireland, but unfortunately it has turned into a petty little circle jerk of smug arseholes, albeit with one or two notable exceptions. Good luck all, I want no f...

Aldi - Is there somewhere to report price gouging?

Is there a trading standards department in Ireland, or something similar? I noticed today that Aldi are selling pawpaw ointment for £1.49 (€1.74) in the UK, but €2.99 here for the exact same item. That's just wrong.

What about something like a Royal Enfield? The Himalaya is a great yoke, and the Continental is drop-dead gorgeous.

Re: Range Rover Classic - Electric Vehicle Conversion

Nice wan, never thought of the 4 wheel drive.
Numpty question number 2:
Why do you need the 4 wheel drive if you're just using it as a local runabout?

Most lads would kill for this opportunity. Buy again, but FGS buy a less boring bike.

Love the motor btw, personally I'd look for an original engine.
You could tidy up that woodshed while you have the time.

Countless amounts of healthy ash at ours, in fact I can't remember ever having seen any diseased trees. Is it only affecting certain areas? South Kerry for reference.

Fuckers driving in lanes 2 and 3 on the Naas rd, and nobody in lane 1. On the same subject, i watched a woman last week driving in lane one, nothing in front of her for at least a km. As she approached a car that was in lane 2 (grrr) she moved out to lane 2, on to lane 3, overtook the car in lane 2 ...

Re: What's the oldest car you've seen on the road lately?

I've done a bit of digging, and it turns out that there were only three vehicles in that figaro group, the Pau, the Figaro and the S-cargo. The jag based Micra was a different company, Mitsuoka, and the model is a Viewt. They're all fetching massive money now.
