I would not be happy about this extra taxing.
How about we cap all the rte wages at 150k, if they can get more elsewhere let them go!

2-3 hours I could be working and earning much more than you save, life is too short for that shit

Re: Mikrotik ...... and other routers and AP's?

I'm in the same boat I have a house full of Mikrotik gear, a CRS rack mount router with VPN server, 3x Vlans and use Capsman with 2x wAPs and an RB951. Capsman is similar to Ubiquiti Unifi more functional but without the bells and whistles, the controller runs on the CRS router. I've configured Ubiq...

Re: Renewing insurance - how much and who with?

Do you honestly ring about looking for quotes, I'm with a broker 15 years. I've tested him in the past and can't get any cheaper than him so he entitled to his few quid off me every year to avoid the hassle. If I change car or do a transfer I just ring him and he sorts of with the insurance company....

I've noticed on the other places the mods set out to ban the main contributors to threads instead of tackling the wums and trolls. It's blatant, has happened in several threads like the northern protocol thread where they banned the main contributor unionist poster. I didn't agree with what he said ...

The SIM will work on any network like any of the IOT SIMS used in automation, gates, barriers etc. Surely you've enough 2g coverage to send a text which is what this does

I said earlier I was looking at some Mikrotik training. I'm not going to take the exam but I "found" a copy of the Udemy - Mikrotik MTCNA training course online and can thoroughly recommend it. Usual price if you buy it is around €15 and the training is worth that. Its only 5 1/2 hours of...

Re: 4K content

You don't need much of a PC to handle 4k, a Raspberry pi can handle it.

Most have moved away for home theatre PCs, your can get a Firestick or Chromecast with Google TV for little money that'll come with a remote and has all the apps in the store and continuous updates

You are protected by the firewall on your router you don't really need security on your LAN, it's very different for corporate networks, home use is fine

A quick wash with a Bosch dishwasher takes 30 mins and with a Bosch washing machine takes just under an hour. On the washing machine we never use the other functions unless it's for delicates as the quick wash does a great job and takes much less time than the preset "Eco" wash. Same for t...

Re: Washing machines - what to look for in a new one?

Just buy a Bosch, it's worth it! We have both Bosch washing machine(~10yrs) and dish washer (~7yrs) and both are over engineered to have a huge selection of functions but we just use the quick wash every time. Neither have had a single issue
