Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
I don’t know what they actually pay as I’ve a fuel card from work, but the pump said €2 for diesel and €2.08 for petrol the other day.

Bit flippant. The virus affected a lot of people differently and the vaccine saved a lot of skins, while also getting the country back open a lot quicker.

Re: Keeping birds out
They go mad and swoop all the time as soon as you go in the door. I had it all last summer and I’m not having it this summer too. The sheds really need to be knocked and rebuilt long term but at this stage I’m just going to have to have a good go at trying to get them blocked up over the next few ev...

Keeping birds out
Anyone have any tricks to keep birds, particularly starlings, from nesting in sheds? I’ve a good amount of holes around the roof and doors that I’ll never get blocked up in time, and while I really don’t want to knock down nests once they’re up, I’ll have to as I can’t be without the sheds for month...

Re: Will this place take over from Boards?
Just had a look there for the first time in months while looking for info on something. God it’s a complete shitshow now - I don’t think one thread had any relation at all to what the title was once you were a few pages in. Every single subject seems to come back to one of a few things. Best thing t...

Re: The Greatest Rock Albums ever?
The Wall - Pink Floyd (?) was awful, I bought on it on the strength of the single and gave it away soon afterwards. Physical Graffiti - dreadful muck too and I've never heard of the others.....guess it would be a boring old world if we all had the taste in everything. The Wall is a master...

If everyone followed the rules and just were decent then there would be no war. But no matter what one group tells you it’s both groups that break the rules. Everyone needs to look out for everyone else, a life isn’t a thing that can be taken back.

I always knew this would get nasty. Not just here I mean, but nationwide. There’s a big division coming over this and it’ll make the divisions that covid created seem minuscule.

If you think "let's lie on the census so our houses won't be taken" is serious discussion, we disagree. And going completely off topic hardly advances *serious discussion". Now, Ukrainians coming to Ireland? I never mentioned them being taken, not did I mention them definitely using ...

Re: 200,000 Ukrainians could come to Ireland
I don’t trust this government, and their constant yearning for a pat on the head from the EU, not to get to the stage where they’re landing at peoples doors and forcing home sharing on them. For a start I’ll be sticking 1 bedroom on the census form come April and hope for their usual laziness in sel...

Re: OK so who has had Covid?
I think I know more with it than without it at this stage. If anyone in the house gets it I'm not even going to bother avoiding them because it's just inevitable now and I'm not long after my 3rd shot.
