Re: Will this place take over from Boards?
It's my unpalatable opinion that the management of "the other side" are dealing with the serious issues with a very similar mindset of how the state broadcaster, RTÉ is dealing with their ongoing crisis. Not a great way to proceed for either entity.

Re: Will this place take over from Boards?

What useful feature that has been done away with is the RATE THREAD system : 5 stars: Excellent Thread 1 star : Poo Thread However, I don't think...

Re: Will this place take over from Boards?
The other pattern manifesting on boards again is threads being started on a contentious topic. The thread generally does not go the OP's way. And then some randomer apparently posts in the thread about the poor OP being bullied and slated rightly for their view:ah would ya leave the poor fella alone...

As a boi account holder my fave branch.
8th October 2021. Roving ATM s too (
Ironically boi account users will have to visit ranelagh for nearest boi branch.
While there's a MacDonalds in Rathmines, theacdonalds in ranelagh was shut years ago.

All that now is needed is a conviction. Hopefully he'll die in Prison at least. He won't be put in with the general prison population because of his age. But watching YouTube vids, prison in US in some states can be quite a manky place, for older men suffering with dementia and disabilities. Ah well...

Re: Will this place take over from Boards?
It won't. BOARDS.IE is comprised 50% of the following persona type - They log on to see which of their friends posted. It is cliquey too. This type of poster only wants to see things in the context of Number 1. Everything else , don't care, could'nt care. And their interests are transient. A sizable...

What do you like most about Newstalk? a) Is it the annoying, opinionated presenters? b) The daily murdering of the English language - Ciara 'noos' Kelly and Shane Coleman take a bow. c) Is it the breathless presentation and annoying jingles especially IMRO radio station of the year - self praise is...

Re: RTE propaganda arm of the government
It is clear that the range of Topics broadcast at any time by RTE aligns perfectly with what the average bogger viewer listener is meant to be following according to them: To put it another way, In certain parts of Ireland, if you did'nt follow the GAA at all years ago, then YOU are the outcast and ...

........ not so much with Mary Harney. When it came to me joining a party much later on I went with Fine Gael, mainly because the PDs under Harney and McDowall were too narrowly focused, and too happy being Haughey and Ahern’s mudguard. Des however genuinely stood by the Republic and was one of the...
