Re: Vaccine passports could create 'two-tier society'
Post viral issues are long existing. Not new. Long covid is not quantified. Vaccine does not stop you get covid. Ask Pelosis secretary and the Min for Health in the UK. Plus many others. Therefore you still risk post viral issues. I believe there are good treatments for long covid just as I believe ...

Re: Vaccine passports could create 'two-tier society'
Efficacy of the flu vaccine is often in the 60-70% range, but if the most vulnerable have access to it then that's enough. A healthy 35 year old will likely be laid up for a week with actual influenza, but an infirm person could die from it, so we offer the vaccination to everyone and hope the vuln...

Re: Vaccine passports could create 'two-tier society'
You are not comparing like with like at all. The vast majority of other vaccines including ones for tropical countries have very long safety profiles, as they have been in use for a long time. And normally heretofore when vaccines displayed significant adverse events they were withdrawn eg swine flu...

Re: Vaccine passports could create 'two-tier society'
People are a bit behind the times. In Israel efficacy of MRNA injections has dropped from near 95 to under 65% against Delta. People are transmitting when vaccinated, much more than was expected. Therefore vaccine passports are illogical if they are an attempt to reduce transmission or provide "...

No. But a couple of my children are traveling abroad...back home to me!, for the first time in almost 2 years, which is very exciting. I like to travel abroad in winter. It is gorgeous here in summer and what with the present heatwave I am already barefoot and reading in my deck chair in the early m...

Re: Vaccine passports could create 'two-tier society'
For a start people with previous immunity from infection, immunity which you have acknowledged, are still being told to get vaccinated. Which is illogical. And second, non sterilising vaccines will never create the herd immunity you hope for. It is a fantasy. Look at Israel right now if you want to ...

Re: Vaccine passports could create 'two-tier society'
The most important fact about vaccine passports is that in this case they are completely illogical. Because... One can be vaccinated and not immune, and one can be immune and not vaccinated. Forget all the many acceptable arguments about pros or cons etc of this injection - it can be settled by the ...
