Re: Moscow Theatre attack
I don't think Ukraine has the mentality to do this. Whatever about inflicting multiple casualties on the battlefield, I doubt the idea of attacking civilians in such a barbarous manner would be to the forefront in Ukrainian minds. Doesn't have the footprint of ISIS either, those guys don't normally...

Re: Moscow Theatre attack
Russia has made plenty of enemies since the collapse of the USSR and any number of groups could have carried out the attack including Putin's own security services. The least likely group to have carried out the attack are the Ukrainians as it only gives Putin an excuse to crack down on them even ha...

Here's another forum that has lasted well and continues to be quite busy https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/ Even here there can be some 'derailing' of discussions.

Anti-English, bar stool republican, triumphalist, little Irelander - call him what you wish but Shane Coleman is consistent. However, that didn't stop him having his ass handed to him this morning by veteran historian Ruth Dudley Edwards (79 years-old) this morning concerning a new nonsense research...

Re: Anyone still glued to this?
The French destroyed the brits (or whatever name they were hiding behind at the time) during the Hundred Years War. You know, the big one. Destroyed them. Owned. Lol. That's a rather simplistic view of the extended conflict which favoured one side then the other - anyway I was only having a dig at ...

Two morally bankrupt former Soviet states indulging in self-destruction and should be left to it. Instead that clown Macron seems intent on dragging us all into it with his NATO boots on the ground posturing. I think there's more than enough Ukrainians to do the surrendering without French help alth...

Re: Devil themed tunes
Surprised " The Devil Went Down To Georgia " (1979) by the Charlie Daniels Band hasn't been mentioned - a really lively one where the Devil loses out and " Spanish Train " (1975) by Chris de Burgh where he has the upper hand. Both classics but I suppose you're all too young to re...

Might have even been Alpine Choughs - main difference being they have yellow bills instead of red ones. Crows of all kinds are so intelligent and fascinating to watch.

Re: Live Chough Webcam from Mizen Head
Thanks del never knew what a chough was. Have you ever seen one? Are they as smart as crows. 19 people watching it must be interesting to some people. Well, apparently it's the first time that Choughs have been captured on a webcam and once things get going it should be fascinating stuff. They are ...

Live Chough Webcam from Mizen Head
Heard this mentioned on RTE this morning and it sounds worth looking in on. As usual RTE were trying to sensationalise the story by emphasising that Choughs are an endangered species and they must be being forced from their usual breeding sites - remote sea cliffs - by human activity. Judging from t...

And right on cue that odious creep Kieran Cuddihy couldn't leave the Kate Middleton story alone with his assertion this evening that the Irish people were hoping that it might lead to the collapse of the British monarchy.

In fairness Coleman is no Royalist but has the Irish inferiority/envy complex and loves to laugh at any perceived British difficulty - BREXIT, the Royal Family etc - while at the same time fawning over English soccer teams. Now that's vomit inducing!
