Re: I like trains...

Hi Del, I'm doing a project and looking for images of the typical type of information signage one might of found knocking around a 'circa 1950's' Irish railway station. Ticket office, parcels, toilets . . that type of thing. I've been searching online for ages but not getting much inspiration. I'd ...

Re: Irish Rail / Northern Rail should market their First Class like airlines economy premium

The other excuse for retaining first class is having attendants who would staff it for the experience they can put in their CV for when graduating to positions in 5* Hotels here, like Drumoland castle. Or if they "side move" to healthcare.

Irish Rail / Northern Rail should market their First Class like airlines economy premium

Because that is all "First Class" or Premiere class can hope to imitate. At least in economy premium on an airline, the attendants will be slightly more human to you. Just slightly. And to be completely fair I was given a nice chocolate sweet on my last first class journey on northern rail...

Creative Writing what would your bio be called?

Mine would be the Marvellous Defeat Actually I stole that from the last war novel Sven Hassel was supposed to write before he crooked - sadly he instructed that the notes were to be destroyed. I was defeated by companies like Asus and Apple and of course got badly burned in the eircone shares debacle.

Re: Jet skiers killed by Algeria coast guard after losing way

Don't go near Algeria:
In their own "professional" perspective the Algerian coastguards were doing their job.

From 1997 at least, Rough Guide and Lonely Planet printed pocket guides specifically warned against entering Algeria as a Tourist, in their publications about Morocco.
