It didn't just now. But I clicked notification when I was already on the notifying comment
Then I went to front page and clicked the thanks notification and it brought me to this page

I will let you know how it goes. I know how much of a pain in the ass it must be to keep getting told something is up!

You need an ordinary account to test stuff, probably, Guburnor. Because maybe some features work differently for you when signed in as Admin?

Back on topic: re the "Glued ..." thread, I just clicked through the "last unread post" icon from the "New Posts" list and was taken to the top of the last-but-one page; clicked forward and scrolled to where I should have been, then thanked the last post. Page refreshed and put me back at the same (correct) place; then thanked the second-last post and the subsequent refresh sent me back to p 12.

That's the only thread where I'm seeing this, although I'm not regularly visiting many of the multi-page threads so it might happen on others too. I do know that there's a long-standing unresolved issue on boards with embedded twitter posts scrolling the page all over the place, so there might be a common cause in that ...

Are those numbers after ‘to_id=‘ are numbers that represent usernames? I’m guessing I’m id 166. Those large numbers are the post numbers? 37480 and 29344. Makes no sense to me why they would throw you back specifically a few pages.
