Attachment size.

Minor gripe about how tiny the allowed attachment size is. I'm sure this is to keep bandwidth useage to reasonable levels yadda yadda but surely we can get more than 300 kb or whatever it is.
I'm mostly taking for images. Maybe have an auto resizer for larger images to shrink them to say 500kb? Just my thoughts.

It's storage costs as well as bandwidth costs to be honest.

But as we're not currently troubling our limits i'll take a look at increasing it in the New Year.

I guess if we do start to worry about storage/bandwidth limits that's a good problem to have!

There are some free sites to upload images to and then just link to them like this one allows 32 mb sizes.

As knownunknown says, a third party hosting site is generally a quick and easy option, and lets you share the same image across different sites if required - and delete it from all of them simultaneously, if necessary.

Thanks KHD. I remember a long time ago I think it was Scotty managed to embed a video of some video in the replies on GUBU he took of birds by a river, (I think, but could be wrong, maybe it was of something else, but there was video). Anyone know how to do that ?
