I'm a great believer in the curse on Mayo, people might laugh at it but it has yet to be proven wrong, I have made a tidy sum of money last few Alexa Ireland's Mayo were in by betting against them.
Tyrone are 6/4 today, great odds, Tyrone not only have 15 players on the pitch but they also have the universe playing for them.

My best pal is from Mayo so I will have to bet against you. I don't watch sport, have never seen an All Ireland, do not know who is playing or how they play it, but I am calling it here - definitively - for Mayo.

Personally don't have any skin in what passes for football today (maybe handball is a better description) but any time I see teams from the six counties play they strike me as dirty, unsporting fcuckers, just out for a whinge fest.

I really want Mayo to win for mainly that very reason I don't want to believe that them peripathetic folk have any sort of sorcery or mysticism going on (on top of everything else )

I had a google there a couple of weeks ago (don't want to tempt fate, and look it up again ) and from that team of 51, there was only one left.. Can't remember his name, but I believe he's 91.

There was a few curses in Baseball, most famous one was the billy goat curse which lasted 71 years.

It could be a self fulfilling prophecy. They have the curse in the back of their minds so they sub-consciously scupper themselves when it comes to the crunch.

Completely agree. There is no skill in scoring with your hand. Minimal skill in a hand pass and there doesn't seem to be a legitimate way of tackling

I can definitely see why the sport hasn't taken off in any other country
