Rugby - United Rugby Championship

Leinster v Bulls
Anybody else watching?

It's the first game I've watched in many, many months and I'm glad that I did!

Leinster 17 Bulls 3 at Half time. Leinster could have been further ahead but lost their way for a while before finishing strongly. The Bulls look dangerous when they get any possession but one gets the feeling that the floodgates may open for Leinster in the second half. Exciting stuff.

And the important game at Thomond Park was a belter as well and featured the return of Simon Zebo. Munster were rusty but the individual brilliance of Coombes, Zebo, Conway etc. pulled it together with panache.

Connacht blew Ulster away tonight with a five try rampage - the West very definitely awake!

Nail biter of a game in Coventry as two very depleted teams meet in a vital game. Munster 3 Wasps 0 after 20 minutes.

Commentary on Newstalk.

Wasps in for a try 32-14 but hopefully too late to make a difference.

A penalty from Carbery and the score is back to 35-14.

6 mins left but Carbery is injured and forced to leave the game.

And it's all over 35-14 - the Munster fans in full voice - well done to the 'young guns' from Munster. :D
