Old Auction Catalogues

#1

Post by schmittel »

Anybody know of a good source of old auction catalogues other than asking the auction house themselves to dig through their archives?

I know often second hand booksellers have them, just wondered if somebody specialises in them.

I am specifically looking for Adams' (St Stephens Green) catalogues from 1976.

Stephen Stokes at Stokes Books in the George's Street Arcade might be a good place to try: https://georgesstreetarcade.ie/stokes-b ... atalogues/ I suspect that Adams are unlikely to still have any catalogues that far back.
