Back to €2 a litre shortly when they want their rebate back.
Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
I'm in Malta at the moment and it's 1.20 for petrol.
Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
Just looking back at this thread as it's down to 1.60ish for petrol at the moment.
30c drop in a few months.

Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
Above is what I paid for diesel this week last year. Yesterday I paid 164.9 per litre - only 3c dearer!!
Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
Today, I paid 159.9 for a litre of diesel in Certa, Dundalk + 470 litres of home heating oil for €500 from the same outlet, although, if I had to price around, I'd probably have got closer to €/litre for same.

159.9?
Still typically >175 here. I had to pass up on a fill at 171 on Saturday night, as the service station canopy was too low for the camper, but that was a supermarket special offer.

Got a fill of diesel at Certa in Dundalk today: 149.9 per litre. That's the cheapest I've paid since 2021. Unfortunately with excise due to be put back on in stages for the rest of the year, that's probably as cheap as it's going to get for the foreseeable!
I also got a fill of home heating oil: 637 litres for €600.

Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
143.9 for diesel in Dundalk today. Crisis? What crisis!
Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
139.9 for diesel in Dundalk. 2020 since we last saw those prices. It wont last though with excise going back on from 1st June.
Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
Diesel prices up and close to 1.60 per litre locally. With further excise increases coming, we're easily looking at 1.75/1.80 a litre in the Autumn. Hmn, not good!
Re: What are you paying for your diesel/petrol?
Paid 1.75 for diesel yesterday. My prediction above wasn't far out for the early autumn prices. Back in March last year the same price came as some shock to the system but now it just seems an inevitable part of the ongoing inflation we're living through.
