NCT Backlog.

I cant understand why the backlog is increasing month on month. They are testing 7 days a week now , but it seems to make no difference.

Maybe because due to the lack of new cars more older ones are kept on the roads and need testing?

Doubt that accounts for all, but it must be contributing.

Went for my NCT today. It failed for no reversing lights. Quick trip home, traced the problem to 2 broken wires, new wires spliced in
and returned to the center 2 hours later. Nct passed and no charge for the re visit.

Stay online on the NCT website long enough for a cancellation to come online between 9 and 12 pm, and bingo.


Thats what I did for my last NCT's on two cars, and I got booked within 3 weeks.
