'no more blah blah blah'
Re: Motor Shows
Del, this idea has been rattling around on my head since I saw the adverts by Dublin Bus to hire mechanics.
Instead of being woke and show a woman as part of an airfix and having adverts as Gaeilge, the adverts should have mentioned that said mechanics would find it useful to apply their acquired knowledge on classic vehicles later on.

I'm more used to seeing the woman's role in this thread's context in the likes of the movie "Driving Miss Daisy"
Re: Motor Shows
Unfortunately I'm far more used to see women associated with classic cars being totally ripped off by crooks who over charge for work on them. A lot of classic car sellers see women as lambs to the slaughter when it comes to selling them cars or working on them.I have no doubt they would make better, more honest mechanics.
