Any thoughts on the new Kia Picanto? Very little choice in the range in Ireland , only manual or automatic but both are highly specced. My OH has a Hyundai I10 deluxe which we're thinking of updating, first inclination is to go Hyundai again but when you look at the equivalent specs, the Hyundai is quite a bit dearer than the Kia and has a shorter warranty period, 5 years as opposed to 7 years, although it does have cruise control which the Kia doesn't. Not a deal breaker but very handy all the same. I don't know much about Kia but as far as I can see from the net, they and Hyundai are sister companies, and the I10 and the Picanto are actually built on the same chassis.

Extra warranty period would win out for me against cruise control . Cant say I am familiar at all with either makes, I am still stuck back in the 60's with VW's :lol:
