NINE flights cancelled by EI due to Covid outbreak in staff

Flights affected include places like Lyon.
Very short notice. Doesn't inspire confidence in Aer lingus.
They seem to be relying a lot on a wing and a prayer as well as a measure of good luck.
Passenger won't be able to return on time to work.
Have your own backup plan before travelling!

What with all the recent hassle at airports, both here and abroad, Mrs quodec & myself have taken the conscious decision to abstain from air travel for the foreseeable; until such a time as a some form of normality returns. I'm well aware that people are anxious to be about the place - travel-wise - again after the lock-downs, but the thoughts of heading to an airport at some un-Godly hour after midnight, spending forever in various queues, and if/when you do get away, you hear that your return flight has been cancelled, well then, for the time-being, no thank you. NOT FOR ME!!!

I've family members travelling into Dublin airport in the next 10 days. They are staying for a week. I'm just thinking about the hassle they'll have going home.

Air Fungus and Dublin airport don't inspire confidence....
