In 2014, a "drone convention" was organized by a bunch of "entrepreneurs", well, to promote the use of flying drones in Ireland. Tickets cost from a few hundred euro to over a thousand.
All I remember in the media is seeing pictures of drones flying at speed through forest firebreaks.
Roll on to today, not surprised to see this story.
Could be the same crowd who organized that "convention" in 2014.

The Balbriggan seagulls may have brought it down in protest of all the bad press they are getting lately.

How stupid do you have to be to think flying drone delivery is a smart idea.

Drones may have a place in delivering emergency supplies to an offshore island or a mountain rescue but delivery of Amazon products/fancy coffee/takeaways etc. is nonsense and should be left in the realms of Sci-Fi.knownunknown wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 11:20 am How stupid do you have to be to think flying drone delivery is a smart idea.
