Well, that was much ado about nothing as Adrian Kennedy struggled in a badly researched piece and despite being told by Niall Hatch (Birdwatch Ireland) that they are gulls NOT seagulls could not get his head around it. Finished with an eejit who lives in Balbriggan - it's on the coast - complaining about the noise of gulls - Jeeze!
Memorable quotes from Adrian Kennedy: "quite dangerous"; "coming further and further inland"; "the removal of nests would make seagulls even more angry" and finishing with the point that he lives 10k inland and heard seagulls in his garden for the first time. Anyone for a remake of Hitchcock's movie?

God love them. They must have little else to worry about.
