It's extraordinary timing with the release of another round of negative listenership figures...
I think he is desperately trying to salvage his brand.
Correct, Turgidy on a heap looking for belated kudos. Too late. There was ample scope to make amends yet the brass neck prevented him doing so. Dee Forbes from her "terminal sickbed" just coughed up a conniption.

Great news. I always new he would. The Andrews family will never let down the state. Hopefully he's back on the national airwaves soon. A first class Broadcaster. Who is head and shoulders above most of his contemporaries

Replacing Marty Whelan on the Lyric FM breakfast slot. Marty has grown the audience massively so handing over to a safe pair of hands.

Book show on RTÉ television.

8 part series on the changes in Irish life since the 70’s.

Heard it here first folks. Gubu exclusive.

RTE is a totally different monster in comparison to NewsUK. With RTE, a mediocre presenter such as Tubridy could easily slide his way back in there presenting some Nationwide format type TV program along with a radio show. Regarding results, it really doesn't matter to RTE as the latest JNLR figures ref 2FM reflects their NKM client presented content for which is a classic example of inferior quality programming and presenting talent. Sure why not add Tubridy to it?

I wouldn't exactly describe Newstalk as a fount of presenting talent. Apart from Pat Kenny and, if you get his sense of humour, Seán Moncrieff, none are worthy of the title. I don't know exactly which swamp was dredged to produce the likes of Kieran Cuddihy, Andrea Gilligan and Ciara Kelly. I presume that they are all on internships because no one in their right mind would pay for the garbage they produce.

I think the guy got a hard deal tbh, but this news wouldn’t have me boasting about the length, girth and tumescence of my “bulbous salutation”.

Heard it from an excellent source…

Invariably the disingenuous nimrods showed face, defending the valour of their beloved Tubs. Phantom sources extracted from collective backsides. Lowest form of excrement, which aligns with their perverted fascination with scutter and juvenile erections. Imagine being so deficient in articulation with the opposite sex that they start pumping blowup dolls. A tragic state of affairs.

That 🪓 is going to fall sooner or later "at the top of the tower".
Virgin Radio are going to have to address free falling listenership figures.
Looks like that by returning the €150K Tubridy is weighing up all options and scenarios...

Of the 11 books only 5 are under 400 pages.
Ryan is going to have great difficulty completing the task.
Infact, what are the chances of him reading any of them? 😜

Speaking of sick elderly people - whatever happened to that hag with the bag Recode The Site? She was a regular on the Boards thread. As mad as a fat person at an empty buffet.

I think he's returning to 2FM. 🤢🤯 I sort of half heard it on the 06:30 news turned down very low, to not wake people. I might be wrong but I don't think so.

I see Ciarán Cuddihy it's moving over to RTE.
That passed the time.
It would have passed in any case.

Another round of UK RAJAR radio listening data released just after midnight.

Virgin Radio loses more listeners going from 1.375 million to 1.304 million listeners since last quarter. That is a further decrease of 5.1%

Virgin Radio has not had one genuine positive increase in reach for month on month or year on year since Tubridy joined the radio station in January 2024.

The results for the Irish JNLR's to be released on 5th November.
