Sadly there won't be many in 'best' category.

A current one that really upsets me is for hearing aids and which mutilates a Thin Lizzy song - can't remember the product but everytime that I hear it I want to smash the radio.

Can anyone remember one a good few years back for "udder cream" (for cows). I think the name had golden in it so might have been for Golden Udder Cream? I'd only just moved to Ireland at the time and the amount of farmer related rural ads on the radio was surprising.

Another teeth grating one currently running is Spry Finance (?) aimed at the over 60's market - at 20 were out riding night and day, at 30 we put the kids through college, at 40, 50 etc. and back to 60 and riding night and day after pushing the kids out into the world. Nauseating.

Followed by the funeral undertakers who have really comfortable facilities and trust our family to take care of yours.............Ughh!

There's an utterly ridiculous Ad running for the Blackrock Clinic Emergency Department which starts by telling us that emergencies happen when they aren't expected but they are there to help. Try and book in advance or check the website for opening hours as they are subject to change - do all this while you're having a heart attack or planning when to have one.....what a joke and no mention of bring your credit card.

That Bold radio ad about having your clothes washed for the online date. Even more headwrecking than the job interview version :?

The quasi religious Ad that says 'binning is sinning' - given the younger (and not so young) attitude to organised religion these days this is really stupid.

Standard Life where some history geek explains about where the word retirement comes from.....accompanied by some aspiring Cozy Powell lashing away on a drum kit in the background. Why?

Exceptionally patronising Ad for Vodafone where Dad has managed a video call to his daughter and wants to send a GIF 'or is it a JIF' Not satisfied with the patronisation level the voiceover goes on to say that 'Paddy even manages to do the grocery shopping online' ....

The Bold Ad with the singing/shouting is off the bad scale.

Anyone notice recently the GoLoud Ads are being pronounced properly as for a very long time it sounded like Goal Out?

Deirdre O'Kane Doctor Ad - total crap and don't understand what the patient babbles on about at the end.

The MC Samba rap (?) Ad - some rubbish involving the ESB.

Anybody else already sick of "The Eagles" concert Ad - and I am an Eagles fan. The concert isn't until 24th June 2022 so hopefully all the tickets will sell out soon as they go on sale.

There are so many rubbish Ads on the radio that it's hard not to be annoyed by the great majority of them. Erectile disfunction ones broadcast at all times of the day - God knows how you explain that to your children! The latest one to grind my gears is another example of the 'stupid man' Ad and this time for the Health Insurance Authority where stupid Dad tells daughter now is the time to take out health insurance but can't explain why...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

RSVP the latest nonsense Ad for Covid from the HSE. I should have thought the use of the RSVP abbreviation is not in common use with the great majority of the Irish public so why on earth use it for this latest confused message?

There are some pretty dreadful Covid Ads out there but Anne Doyle's UNICEF 'Let's give Covid the Jab' has to be one of the worst - right up there with the utterly stupid RSVP one. I would love to know how much is being spent on these Ads,

One of the most dreary Ads currently running is for Gabriel Byrne's "hilarious and heartbreaking" monologue 'Walking with Ghosts' coming to the Gaiety shortly. If it's as woeful as his intro.....

Better title for this thread is

"The creme de la creme of all Irish Radio Ads"

Stating the obvious here: by creme de la creme, it's understood that all radio ads are shyite
