Went from Spin (with a bit of TodayFM) to Radio 1 / Lyric.

Lyric FM usually. Liz Nolan I find is a joy to listen to when introducing each piece of music. I don't like the music that most of the radio stations put out.

Used to listen to some of the American shows put out by RTE radio extra on DAB but that's gone now.

Newstalk and RTE - an addiction that I'm struggling to break.

BBC World Service to find out what's going on in the real world.

BBC Radio 4 for serious matters like the Farming Today, Tweet of the Day, "Sailing By" and the Shipping Forecast.

All weather and shipping forecasts should be done in Anglican chant.

BBC Radio 4 on LW most of the time. Only really good talk radio around.

BBC R6 because I like the styles of music they play, the DJs aren't wankers and there is little to no bullshit.

I also listen to JO'B on LBC because I like his style and how he treats simlpetons.

LiveDrive on Dublin City 103.2FM because I like to hear traffic updates when I need to, and the two presenters are very good at what they do, and the music is as eclectic as it comes.

RTE R1, Morning Ireland and DriveTime if there is something in the news I want to listen to, whatever ones thoughts on RTE, there is notthing else on the Irish radio landscape that comes close.

I have some suggestions for you, given your musical tastes

8 Radio is an online Irish radio station, similar enough to the old Phantom FM, and a million times better than Nova.

BBCR6 is great too, but with a more modern and new music bent, however it does help to keep oneself relevant I suppose

BBC Radio 3. A welcome antidote to pretty much everything and the ubiquitous death notices on Highland Radio.
