Re: Brendan O'Connor Show
Brendan O'Connor this morning starts out with a segment on "love" and guess what the panel has at least one gay male who gets it out there as fast as he can .....and radio off. Just what percentage of the population are gay - if the quota system that RTE use to make up its discussion groups is anything to go by there must be precious few straight people left.

Yes but doesn't it show how fashionably woke, PC, and enlightened RTE is.Del.Monte wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2023 11:10 am Brendan O'Connor this morning starts out with a segment on "love" and guess what the panel has at least one gay male who gets it out there as fast as he can .....and radio off. Re: Brendan O'Connor Show
And, as usual, the panel this morning were drawn from his chosen few that all agree with the leftie/woke/pc line on everything. Hazel Chu (former Lord Mayor of Dublin/failed Green Party Dail candidate, Jack Horgan-Jones (Irish Times reporter and former Belvedere College pupil, Síona Cahill (leftie/USI/lesbian) and Prof.Bridget Laffan (very, very busy intellectual?)
The only one missing was Dr Ebun Joseph, lecturer in Black Studies and Critical Race Perspectives in Education at UCD and founder of the Institute of Antiracism .....and arrived in Ireland as recently as 2002

Re: Brendan O'Connor Show
Do yourself a favour and stop listening to mainstream Irish media, especially the national stations.
Local radio stations appear a lot more clued in to what people actually think and believe.
If you were to just arrive here (legitimate visitor be it for work or holiday) listening to or viewing our mainstream media one would think that the place was a mixture between mid 1930s Germany, early 1960s Alabama with a dollop of 1960s apartheid South Africa thrown in for good measure.
