Brendan O'Connor Show

Have it on in the background as a least worst option but I feel the off button approaching.

Monty Python's Accountant sketch covers the hapless Brendan and his woeful panel - every week.

Talking about covid so you made the right choice there Del. Something that strikes me about his radio format. Have a panel of guests and a list of subjects that the panel are mostly clueless about.

Regarding cinatographer killing by Alec Baldwin and then Ballsey crunches the gears, to read another POEM since we're still in the middle of the Pandemic.

Woeful show this morning - Covid followed with a strange interview with the late Brendan Grace's family and despite listening through to the end it wasn't clear who the 'Brendan' was until the segment was over and topped off with a rambling piece on autism................misery radio at its worst.

Yesterday Ballsey was opining about the impending trial of Ghilsane Maxwell.
Or rather regaling in his "impartial tone" about the trial and her connections with Prince Andrew.
No real point of view from Brendan.

Is that the man who was suggesting send out random texts to people that haven't been in contact for a while with the words "Hope your OK?"

Search me, I zoned out and it was just like static coming out of the radio. Brendan is the most boring presenter on radio. I might have gone out my third storey window save for the shutters being closed in a futile attempt to keep the cold out.

He'll be known as Covid O'Connor if he doesn't do something soon to bring a bit of variety onto his show. Like Duffy he's a complete misery merchant.

Even when he does move onto another subject he eventually returns to talking again about covid.

Brendan has just referred to the 'woke generation' - poor man really does seems to believe that he's not part of it. The whole media/celeb world is rammed with the brain dead/sound byte/perpetually offended people that his rubbish show is permanently inhabited by. Sorry - rant does not make sense....I was in good form after a walk then I foolishly flicked on the radio.. :(

Brendan O'Connor has a real mind bender on today who believes we may all be living in a virtual world already - no mind altering drugs were involved....

Now he has a lady on talking about her grandfather - Enzo - who was a Holocaust survivor and all I could think of was this scene from The Godfather.

The stand in for Brendan today just asked her callers if any of them are currently driving on a motorway at 120kms per hour to slow down to 100kms per hour and to text into the show what it says on their fuel gauges...

She may ask them to specify if the driver looks at Dials or Digital Read outs too.

Listening today and heard Ballyhaunis born, Irish journalist, Craig Hughes, proudly boasting how he voted for Scottish Independence last time out - typical Brit bashing shyte - arrogance of him even voting on such an issue in a country which he clearly had no long term intention of remaining.
