I was looking at Killian M2s Twitter page where he posts clips from old TV programmes. Lots of bizarre stuff and you probably don't have to go back to the 1970s to find things that would raise eyebrows today. E.g. one recent clip from a Cutting Edge documentary on Women Drivers. From around 1997.
I'd say there's plenty of stuff from Channel 4 from the 90s/early 00s that will not be repeated. Anyone remember Don't Forget Your Toothbrush where a hidden camera was put in a woman's toilet and recorded her farting and pissing. Or Shaun Ryder's infamous Sex Pistols performance in TFI Friday where he swore repeatedly and slapped two women on his way to the stage. Or Brass Eye Paedogeddon special from about 2001.
'All In The Family' wouldn't last a minute in onslaught of woke Twitter mob today, in particular the lead character Archie Bunker. An obvious send-up of reactionary conservatism in the 70s, the show has aged well if only that the dissection of political correctness was light-hearted and self-deprecating. Contrast that to the grim social media campaigns which stifle all opinions that offend a delicate nature, to the point where there is a revisionism of history bordering on erasure.
