For a trip through time to 90s Ireland, Ros na Rún have been uploading their series starting from Season 1 ar YouTube.

I'm really enjoying it. Some very likeable and witty characters not to mention strong acting and the odd window on some of our traditions.

Some of the biggest surprises to me were the social issues they dealt with. Given it was aired in 90s Ireland, teen mental health, child custody, parenting and LGBT issues are among other story lines. Some incredible acting from the young MacDara as well as others.

By far the best soap from the last decades. There's so many TG4 produced shows that people would still be raving over if they'd been produced by RTE or BBC etc

Only watched the odd episode of ros na run but agree it was so well made in comparison to a lot of what rte made /makes.
