Weekly Thread on the Late Late

Post by Pelvis Parsley »

Oh joy, oh rapture-it's back on Friday!

Any interest in a weekly thread extolling the virtues of the CancerMan and his endless pursuit of positivity (and death notices)?

Ryan Tubridy: The hardest working man in show business. How he crams seven hours into a week, one can hardly fathom. The obligatory JFK references (move aside Robert Caro) reveal a man in touch with the world and not a shallow egoist worshipping at the temple of his own narcissism. And he has unparalled line of questioning: the brave opening gambit "was there a death in the family recently" followed by the canny "how did it make you feel/were you upset" offering the viewer light relief from the Covid tedium. Imagine if the BBC poached him, we would lose the conscience of a nation. Hike the TV licence so we can afford to keep him.

I wonder will he give a brief monologue of Joe Biden being a failure like he did when Trump was in charge and suffering from covid and Ryan had a go at him on the opening of the show.

Duffy, Tubridy. Why are RTE so obsessed with hiring misery merchants and sending them straight to the top?
