What I'm going to watch tonight.

I don't watch much broadcast tv although I do watch a lot of downloaded and streamed content.

However there is occasionally something on that I'll make an effort to watch.

Tonight Friday when there is rarely anything decent on at 9pm on Drama (the old peoples channel that and TV3) Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost

I've seen them all before but they are a nice steady late evening watch and can't be that bad with a IMDB rating of 7.2

Edit> Apologies Jesse Stone was on 5USA not Drama

I must be ancient, all I'm watching tonight is Heartbeat and Lewis afterwards on TV3. Actually just checking my five channels, A Perfect Storm is on RTE2 at 10 PM 😀

Ya, just checked the programs there. I like westerns, and Rooster Cogburn is on TG4 9.05pm. Wouldn't mind watching that but I'll be subjected to the news and LLS 🤐

TG4 and their westerns slot on Friday nights must be going back a good few years at this stage. They'll soon run out of half decent 'horse operas' to show unless they go for the old Randolph Scott B westerns of the 1950s!!!!

I'm in the leaba for reading time but if I wasn't I'd watch another episode of the utterly bonkers Smigadoon. I'm also interested in the Fr Molloy doc on RTE and Kin.

And Sunday night it has to be BBC TV's Vigil at 9pm now on episode 4

But in the back of my mind I'm always wondering what a young Morse and DC Bailey are doing on the boat which has ceilings that are far to high (imo) for any submarine. I've been on Aircraft carriers with less crew room than HMS Vigil.

I'm not into soaps but I try and watch Heartbeat every evening. Enjoy the characters and old cars in it.

Angie is lovely; all of the main cast of Police Woman are still alive, which is unusual.

Mannix plots were getting a bit recycled and / or overly complicated by the final season 1974-1975 but still enjoyable. The first season - where he works for Intertect as opposed to for himself - is fascinating. Think it peaked around seasons 3-5 - hardly a bad episode. Next Saturday, will start a Kojak re-watch. The pilot, The Marcus-Nelson Murders is fantastic so looking forward to seeing it again.

I’m going to finish Good Girls, maybe. I’m rapidly losing interest and if I don’t finish it soon I probably never will.

Well I got the beer and snacks ready for Die Hard on RTE 2 to try an get into the Christmas spirit but unfortunately the programming w@nkers in RTE decide instead to show something completely different. 😕

Edit false alarm.. they just got the time wrong ffs.

I am going to count to three. There will not be a four.
