Taxi Driver is the first one that springs to mind. Very intense performance from Bobby.

Just to clarify - Robert de Nero was in Godather 2, not Godfather 1. He played Don Corleone when he was a young man.

My favourite Robert de Niro films are: Heat (Number 1), Goodfella, Casino, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers and Cape Fear. Special mentions to The King of Comedy, Taxi Driver, Analyze This and The Irishman.

I forgot about Raging Bull. Once Upon A Time in America is good too.
As for the worst De Niro film I've ever seen, probably The Family. I gave up halfway through it was so bad.

Angel Heart is an often-overlooked favourite of mine.
The Deer Hunter is an exceptional flick

Honestly. Off the screen he comes across very poor. Barely opens his mouth in interviews. Just sits there really. And the trump stuff was ridiculous really. We get it. You dont like him. Big deal

Not exactly gold for a chat show. He has been on Graham Norton's show more than once and has had very little to say for himself.

Ya its baffling. The amount of great movies and his iconic status in Hollywood youd think he would be full of stories on these TV shows

He is definitely one actor that ran into money problems late on. Think he is working now just to pay off debts and a divorce

Another film where Robert plays a priest is True Confessions, which I had forgotten about. He puts in a very strong performance in that.

The new Frankenstein movie with Kevin Brannagh doing all that running around barefoot as the crazed doctor, forget the name. Apt too. One of the best Frankenstein monsters.
