The brother got me one for Christmas. Have to say its nice to have freshly cut chips back on the plate again. I got some frozen onion rings and spring rolls I'm going to try out.

It's a pity Airfryers weren't invented a hundred years ago because then those of us of a certain age might not have sampled the delights of chips cooked in beef dripping.

In Germany, Italy and a few other European countries, they open the presents on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day.

But it definitely is unusual in an Irish context, I'll give you that.

I use the Air Fryer every day. Great invention. Does the same job as the oven but you're not waiting 30 minutes for it to pre-heat.

I've progressed to spring rolls, onion rings and sausages. I don't think this invention is going to do me any favours to my waist line. :)

I've used it for jalapeño poppers, veggie nuggets and even battered fish. Works well. Bit of a pain to clean though.

There's a large volum Ninja one I was looking to buy - apparently you can do a whole chicken in it 🤔

Put some chicken in it with spices and oil cook for about 10 minutes 75% cooked, then get some frozen Stir-fry veg mix and continue to cook for 5 minutes and you will have perfect Stir-fry, lovely crispy veg. Experiment with times to get it dialed in and you will be very impressed.
