Drill body only but a very good deal all the same - no charger no case no batteries

DEWALT DCD796N 18v XR Li-Ion Brushless Compact Combi Hammer, 18 W, 18 V, Yellow/Black £56.36

imo for the money one of the best DeWalt battery drills you can get - while I have several other similar drills this is the one I use the most.

Just a quick note about bargains I post. I check the obvious websites and Amazons own Deals each day looking for stuff I'm interested in and might buy myself (sometimes I do) so what I post is specific to my interests. If you want a wider range of bargains then someone else needs to get on their keyboard and post some.

I'll keep going for another week and after that if I'm here still posting on my own then I'll leave it off.

Thanks but it starts to feel a bit weird when you see your own avatar (bar one) all the way down for every post on a page.

I'm not looking for thanks I'm even happy to argue the bargain worthiness of my posts its just that an occasional bargain post from anyone else would be nice.

Just want to say that I love the bargains and your efforts. I don't know where to find any otherwise I would share. You mention you check the obvious websites, which are these?

The two most obvious ones are

https://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/amazon-uk
&
https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/deals/amazon-uk

Amazon's own Today's Deals https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/deals highlights a lot of the best deals.

But I think you also need to look fairly closely at each deal. I took a look at this Air Fryer today for £3.99 :o only to find it wasn't Amazon Prime (to an Irish address) and delivery was something like £23 - maybe not a bargain :?:

For anyone else posting may I suggest checking previous prices at camelcamelcamel.com and putting the item in their basket, going through to the last stage of the checkout to see if the item can be delivered here and to get a price including import duty. As a final sanity check please look at the URL you are posting and try and avoid posting referral links. Links from both sites above will include referrals. All you need to do is copy and paste the URL from the URL bar from the left all the way up to but not including the question mark.

Example:

Code: Select all

 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08DHWW5ZN?tag=lates05-21&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1&m=A3LIQKCSRXRK64
where "?tag=lates05-21&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1&m=A3LIQKCSRXRK64" is the referral code (Amazon use "tag" to indicate a referral code).

Ideally just post this

Code: Select all

 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08DHWW5ZN
which is the item without the referral code.

The reason for saying not to post referrals is there is no point making money for another site when Gubu.ie can if it wants add its own referrals in the background and make money out of the links posted here.

Keeping referrals where possible out of links also avoids the possibility and accusations that members here are trying to make money out of referrals.

On the other hand better to post a bargain alert with a referral than not to post at all ;)

Cancelled my Prime subscription last week because there were fcuk all bargains to be had, I didn't realise Amazon was charging postage for orders over £25 now. When did that start?

Sorry, there is an option for free delivery, would have been the end of Amazon shopping for me otherwise.

I'm enjoying this thread also.
One thing that I've noticed with Amazon Prime is that, when I put an item into my basket but don't buy it (or delete it from my basket), a week or so later, I'll get an Amazon email with offers and that item will be included in the offers and cheaper by around 20%. This has happened a lot.

Good deal for anyone still needing a desktop monitor mount.

ErGear 13"-34"/9KG Monitor Arm Gas Spring Powered with Full-range Motion Height Adjustable Monitor Mount Tilt +85°/-30° Swivel 180° Rotation 360° Monitor Stand VESA 75/100mm £8.20

Check the box below the price for 80% discount.

I have bought similar before, this is probably the better design but realistically I wouldn't put anything bigger than a 28inch monitor on it.

Over in the UK last week and not many bargains to post anyway so didn't bother.

Was looking myself for some earphones recently and these turned up. Makey Uppey RRP and discount as they have only been on Amazon for a couple of weeks but might be handy for anyone like me who manages to get through a lot of earphones.

Earphones Aoslen In-Ear Headphones Stereo Noise Isolating Wired Earbuds Lightweight Earphones with Mic Strong Bass Volume Control 3.5mm Headphones Jack for iPhone iPad Smartphone MP3 £4.10

An inspired cheap bit of Chinese tat.

No idea of the quality of these either the USB charger or the shelf? At this price I can't imagine it is great but at least the idea behind it is inspired.

GUUKIN Plug Extension with USB Ports and built in shelf for the device you are charging, Multi Plug Adapter UK, Surge Protector with Smart Night Light, Removable Shelf, 6-in-1 Cable-free Socket Outlet Shelf for Home Office Travel £8.49 with code WE5YX336

Some lego. 3C's has this as the lowest price its been.

LEGO 42107 Technic Ducati Panigale V4 R Motorbike, Collectible Superbike Display Model £38.43

Smyths have it a €53 so bit cheaper but not a massive saving when you do the £>€ conversion.

One here for our stranger members?

Do you collect small things and want something to organise your collection in?

JUSTDOLIFE Diamond Painting Storage Box, 30PCS Jewelry Drill Storage Box,Plastic Bead Storage Containers,Diamond Painting Storage,Diamond Embroidery Box for DIY Craft/Jewelry/Rhinestone £3.71

You need to check for a small discount and a much larger promotion to get the price I've indicated.

I bought one for my wife who makes small quantities of art paints. Make your own mind up on the price as its totally chinese makey uppey since this is a new listing for the item on Amazon.

Toolbox.

STANLEY FATMAX Waterproof Toolbox Storage with Heavy Duty Metal Latch, Portable Tote Tray for Tools and Small Parts, 28 Inch, 1-93-935 £28.68

I have this toolbox and its handy for woodworking tools and because of its length will take a 22 inch hand saw (22 inch + handle).

Odd one. I'm not buying but might interest someone?

Cat Dog Mini Tracking Loss Prevention Waterproof Device Tool Pet GPS Locator

There's a voucher and a promotion that brings the price down to about £6

Voucher if you need it ZVCR3MO7

The device relies on Bluetooth and not GPS. Don't be pulled in by the original price as I doubt these are worth anything like that.
