Cruising into Tullamore. From the southern tip in Wexford to the beautiful northwest. It's roashting!!

Thinking out loud, and trying to be occasionally less wrong...

Thats a different track to what I was expecting to hear, I thought it was this bridge of sighs by Robin Trower.

If anyone had told me back when I was into Deep Purple, Led Zep, Uriah Heep, Rory Gallagher etc. that I would be listening to this sort of stuff - and enjoying it.

Had the John Creedon Show https://www.rte.ie/radio/radio1/john-creedon/ on this evening while I was doing the washing up and unlike many on our airwaves he has a voice made for radio. Laid back, mellow with plenty of good music (for me) as we're both the same age. Last thing I heard on the show tonight was Telly Savalas (Kojak) and his version of "If" took me right back to 1970s.

Had to check this out tonight before selling - didn't last to the halfway point. This sort of music can only be appreciated (?) after 10 or 15 pints and since I don't do that anymore it's not for me. Hopefully someone on Adverts will fancy it.

New Killer Mike with a verse from Andre 3000, his first in over 4 years. I really hope that means he's ready to make his own new music again.

Last time I saw them was 2011 in the O2. We were on our way back home, just past the Mullingar bypass, singing along to this . . when me poor old Saab breathed its last ever petrol fume, shuddered a little . . . and died forever.

Always loved this song. Particularly Frank's version which I think is the original

An antidote to the spectacularly awful drone called AIB circling the rounds. Here is the original version from 1968, in all its technicolour glory:

Saw him support Clapton at the Albert Hall in the mid 90s - absolute joy!!!

Oh absolute quality!!! Title track is poignant and heartfelt; U Got The Look made Sheena Easton cool and If I Was Your Girlfriend could be creepy in anyone’s else hands but with him it seems sweet and adorable!!!

Hey lads and lassies , I'm listening to this song again. Love the lyrics but I really wanna get that shirt he's wearing .
It appears to a 1980s USA desert army short but I can only find 1 online and the postage is fooking mental. .

Spent the evening listening to Huey Lewis & The News - The Japanese Singles Collection CD + DVD which was delivered by Fedex earlier.

Great fun.
