It's my second favourite Beatles album

Always though Sgt Pepper was slightly overrated. My two favorite albums are Revolver or Abbey Road

Revolver is the overrated one in my opinion. I rank it 5th. To be fair, Sgt Pepper has been getting faint praise since the mid 90s. Revolver topped an NME all time albums poll c1993 & its reputation has been growing ever since.

Personally I'd go
1 - Abbey Road
2- Revolver
3 - Sgt. Pepper

Managed to get my hands on the 2CD reissue of Bobby Brown's Don't Be Cruel. Only released in June but pulled from the shops already due to some issuing with licensing. Takes me back to discos in the Crosbie Motor Hotel.

Turkish funk is worth checking out.
Bariş Manço was huge in Turkey, and is still popular.

Great stuff. Used to play that sort of stuff at B-Music. Also Erkin Koray.

One of my all time regrets is never seeing my hero the legendary Rory Gallagher live....too busy wasting my life playing trains. :(

Another charity shop purchase to sell but I always check discs for quality before listing - that's my excuse anyway.

Another CD tested tonight and it wouldn't do much for me despite being an ELO fan.
Never even heard of the 1986 released album or any of the tracks before. It will be on Adverts.ie soon - don't waste your money.

1. "Heaven Only Knows"
2. "So Serious"
3. "Getting to the Point"
4. "Secret Lives"
5. "Is It Alright"
6. "Sorrow About to Fall"
7. "Without Someone"
8. "Calling America"
9. "Endless Lies"
10. "Send It"

Stuck this on the CD player to test for quality before listing it for sale. Given that, in the main, I consider that the music died about 1973/74 I had never heard anything by this band before and thus I turned the volume way down before the first track played - I was very pleasantly surprised as it is quite listenable to and I may give it another play before listing.

It's a classic, some decent Manchester rock tunes before the music charts got taken over by all this R&B crap

That Stone Roses album was my #2 album of 1989. A classic. Your CD needs a black tray.
