Morrissey - I Am Not A Dog On A Chain

Nice Irish flavour to this one.

A rare decent find amongst what passes for music in one of my local charity shops jammed in amongst rubbish from U2, Rhiana, Westlife etc.

I was a late comer to Johnny Cash (wasn't heavy enough for me in the 1970's) but I've been a fan for the last 20+ years. Played this disc through tonight prior to putting on Adverts tomorrow. Great stuff!

This arrived in an Auction Lot today - I had forgotten how much I liked the Eagles and I actually might keep this one.

My late dad got me until the Man in Black - I might have been the only 10 year old in the late 70s who sang along to Folsom Prison Blues!!!

Regressing even further tonight as I check-out the Mamas and the Papas before listing on Adverts. Great stuff from another era.

Playing every Bee Gees album in order of release.

Today's it's 1973's Life In A Tin Can.

I am still busy listing CDs on Adverts and tonight's treat was "Piano Man: The Very Best of Billy Joel" - I had forgotten just how good his stuff is. Played the whole album through - great and all it still got listed.

I inflicted this on myself to check on the disc quality. I never got Bob Dylan back in the day and after listening to this it reminded me why. Pure muck. :(

RIP Rodriguez :|
I'd highly recommend the documentary "Searching for Sugar Man".

Ah. One of my favourites gone.

Of the dreams we dreamt together
Of the love we vowed would never
Melt like snowflakes in the sun
My days now end as they began
With thoughts of you
And I think of you
And think of you.

Rodriguez kept me company with that song in particular on many a lonely night.

I know it doesn't get a lot of love from some sections of Beatles fans. But I always thought it was a damn good album

Always enjoyed this on the screen and in the theatre - and this CD reminds me of happier days.
