What are you listening to at the moment?
Desperate for something to listen to tonight and I came across a 5 CD set "The Ultimate Collection: Rock 100 Hits" - produced in 2008 it's a real mixture - CD .1. Contains all sorts of ancient tracks like Free's "All RIght Now", Whiskey in the Jar, Bat Out of Hell, "Just like Jesse James" by Cher and a ton of tracks that I haven't heard in years. Good stuff for the most part and it's better than the sound of traffic on the street below. Air comes at the price of having all the windows open and even 3 storeys up the traffic noise can be a pain.
I am returning to vinyl very soon as I was recently given a very expensive, unused, Hi-Fi system - all separates - amp, cd player, turntable etc. It's currently making its way from Tralee to Enniscorthy via Limerick and I'm quite excited not having had a proper Hi-Fi system since 1989. All I need then is some vinyl as my record collection is down to just three LPs - Brendan O'Dowda, Henry Mancini and the Black & White Minstrels - don't ask!

'no more blah blah blah'

Have some old Peter Frampton LPS that would be better than the black and white minstrels
If that Hi-Fi unit was passing my house on the way to yours, I would consider a smash'n'grab
sounds cool

I cant say I was stuck to any particular genre of music. I was brought up on heavy metal, saw Steve Marriot and Humble pie,
and they were supported by hawkwind in the Astoria in Finsbury Park where I grew up. Memorable stuff.
But Hank Williams JNR is cool to listen to as well

Townes Van Zandt & Greg Brown. Wry Midwestern sensibility, Stateside for the uninitiated. Read between the lines, some prime nuggets of wisdom are to be found.

I asked google to "play Ain't no sunshine by Bill Withers" the other day (which it then plays via Spotify). Well.... it lead into one of the best playlists I've heard in ages! All easy listening stuff from the 60's & 70's.
Apart from that, listening to a lot of The Killers and Stereophonics lately.

Listening to Death. I need to switch it off and get out of the house.

Surprisingly I haven't got an ad in this video ruining it even though it's over an hour.

Missing my regular dose of hard-core continental trad, so playing this at full volume on surround sound speakers, to make me feel like there's something going on in the road outside:

Jason Becker - Perpetual Burn. Virtuoso Neoclassical Electric Guitarist who's career was sadly cut short, still creating music but in a different way.

I put my phone on random on my cycle in to work each morning and afternoon for the way home.
This is the last song that played on the way in this morn:
