I have the Dub Side of the Moon on orange vinyl already. Have had for many years. I've heard about the Radiohead one but not seen it anywhere yet.

Listened to my first ever Snow Patrol CD tonight. "Eyes Open " - never heard anything by the band before and it wasn't as bad as I expected.
Now I am inflicting Crowded House on myself....both going for sale as soon as I can get them listed.

Playing this for the kids this morning, but I did have to warn them that it's gonna get loud. Real music. 8-) 'nuff said.

really captures the era very well. The indie side (Happy Mondays --> Quireboys) is class.

I feel like the NTWICM comps deliberately had a fairly even spread of decent underground tracks that would go one to be classics in their own genre and flash in the pan bubble gum pop.

I'm listening to an album titled 'No Comfort' by Monolord.

It's pretty sweet.

A newspaper freebie given to me this morning. I've never come across this one before and it features some great tracks by Paul McCartney recorded at a free concert in Los Angeles in 2007. Despite only being released as a promo disc with the Daily Mail in the UK and the Mail on Sunday here it's still widely available for a few Euros. Worth having just for the elusive "C Moon" which used to be hard to find as it was the B-side for "Hi, Hi, Hi" which was banned by the BBC amongst others.

And finally some wind-down music before bed - from the late, great Ennio Morricone.
