Saw them live in 96. Unreal. They were my favourite band in the 90s. Never before and never since has such artistry been achieved with a 12 string guitar

I can't stand him. If he made regular piano videos I'd have some respect for him but his attempts at going viral by pretending to be a builder or hobo or whatever are pitiful.

On this day in 1982 the album Thriller was released. Still the highest selling album of all time. Here' two of it's big singles.

John Kongos and his 1971 hit. Happy Mondays revamped it in the early 90s. Great song!

Only a 1 minute snippet taken from Peter Jackson's 'Get Back' recent release. The Fab Four never sounded better!

@ quodec
Don't recall having heard that John Kongos track since about 1972! Fab stuff and on checking his bio on Wiki he was more or less a one-hit-wonder.

Track from Porcupine Tree's new album set for release in 2022. Didn't think they'd get back together. Hopefully a tour date in Dublin after.
Seen them live in the Tripod a good few years ago at this. Very tight band live.

Chris Rea's 'Driving home for Christmas' usually features during the festive season but I particularly like this song of his from 1985 with its slow start that finally turns into a rocking outro!

Great tune as its parent album Shamrock Diaries. Chris had a great run; I own a lot of his records and CDs plus numerous singles.

Very beautiful but these lonely, cold nights I'm reliving my teenage years - this one helps shake away the cobwebs.

A local version of this was very popular in my local in Leitrim with everybody joining in on the chorus - which referred to a local 'good time' girl.

Paul McCartney coming up with a new song from nowhere in January 1969, while George yawns!!!! Turned out to be Get Back! Pure genius!!
