Similar to the train theme thread. The Devil, or devils. Let's have 'em.

Oddly enough, you'd think the various metal genres would be packed with songs that have "devil" in the title but they don't, given the preference for referring the quare fella his more formal title of Satan, or Lucifer

And just to calm things down again:

The Green Manalishi - Fleetwood Mac. Very ominous sounding especially the wailing at the end

Fire - Crazy World of Arthur Brown. Also associated with a recent appalling incident.

Back in my youth this was one of the first singles I bought, from 1973, drummer Cozy Powell and his instrumental hit 'Dance with the Devil'.

I highly recommend this 1976 LP
Evil is the theme and this LP delivers in spades

One from my youth...

Despite being an anthem of the 80's, and INXS being massive at the time, it only barely made the TOP 50 in the UK charts.

Yes, the chart failure of Devil Inside was disappointing. The track was too long for radio though which didn't help. There was a tighter edit which I prefer but was only on a promo 7". If that was on the regular 7" pressings then it would have done much better.

Surprised "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" (1979) by the Charlie Daniels Band hasn't been mentioned - a really lively one where the Devil loses out and "Spanish Train" (1975) by Chris de Burgh where he has the upper hand. Both classics but I suppose you're all too young to remember them.
