Perfect album - all done and dusted in about 28 minutes.

35 years since I and a friend cycled to Waterford to watch Platoon in the cinema and bought Reign In Blood plus The Cult's Electric afterwards. Cycled home with the records in a bag on the carrier.

There is not one song I don't like on Metallica's Ride the Lightening. Brilliant album and think the bad recording of it adds to it for some reason. There is like a wavyness in it... like a tape that's going on the blink ? Maybe I'm imagining it. Very noticeable at the start of Fade to Black... could be all in my head though. .
