Some electronic tunes to add to your list.

The B-Sides from that era are excellent; remember them being compiled on the cassette version of Standing On A Beach.

Think it was the second Cure tape I bought after Pornography and I played it death, it was long tape though, and had a habit of fecking up on crappy tape recorders.

Obscure band but great, bleak track

Classic

A half decent track off a poor album

last put not least, not to everyones taste but I loved this track as a kid just for Philthy Phils (god rest em ) landslide of double bass

There's a few others but stuff like Squarepusher did not age well :B

Yes, you had to minimise fast forward and rewinding on those double play cassettes.

All of the B-sides are on the Join The Dots box set - well worth a purchase - as are similar sets by Siouxsie & The Banshees and The Jesus & Mary Chain

I had join the dots, gave it away as a present..stupid but there you are

The Banshees are a band that get overlooked a lot, JuJu is one hell of an album

Another classic from that era, still the weakest track on an album that is all killer:

Yeah JuJu is class, they don't get enough credit. Also like A Kiss In The Dreamhouse and Tinderbox

Train In Vain is a good one; fine album although I do think they peaked on Give 'Em Enough Rope which is my favourite punk album ever.

Great band, I'm a big fan. Great live sets and the studio albums are mostly great. Especially Workingman's Dead, American Beauty & Terrapin Station.

Jimmy Rogers - Waiting for a train. He died in 1933. Great sound quality.
