you can be relied upon Jack.
I'm interested to see how things shape up. Bad weather affects my work. I might have an easy day tomorrow

It might make a bit of rain between the showers and a bit of wind. They do let themselves up for big falls on these warnings.
Re: Storm warnings and aftermath.
We'll see tomorrow, I guess. My polytunnels are having a summer without plastic so I'm not concerned.

Similar situation here, with 50-60km/h gusts forecast for several days, yet again. Every fekkin week since November ; I'm getting really fed up with it ...
In view of that forecast (and thanks to this thread for the heads-up - as I was somewhat distracted from weather watching by my weekend away - I put the next phase of the drylining on hold, and cleared some of the up-a-laddery stuff off the To Do List instead.

The football rolled off the lawn last night, this needs upgrading to a red. This is serious.

Rainfall totals between now and Saturday night. The northern half of the country looks to be getting the worst of the rain.
Re: Storm warnings and aftermath.
Storm Antoni has been named by the UK Met Office. First named storm of 2022-23 season didn't occur until August which is very odd.

Horrible in Enniscorthy since about 3pm but the wind has already died down - another false alarm?

Re: Storm warnings and aftermath.
Lots of wind and rain here in the NE. Though its not cold, it still feels like a late autumn stormy night. Stay safe.
Re: Storm warnings and aftermath.
It was a bit blowy on the North Circular Road. I was going to say it looks like a war zone with all the debris thrown around but that's its normal appearance:)
Re: Storm warnings and aftermath.
Never heard a thing here in Westmeath, you'd never know there was anything unusual going on.
