An interesting postcard of Berehaven, Bantry Bay which illustrates the vital role the Treaty Ports provided for the Royal Navy in guarding the Western Approaches. There's a serious level of firepower evident in this view. The ports were handed back to the Irish government in 1938 and Berehaven has returned to its slumbers.
