There is a new mod on the woke thread on boards that just keeps spamming it, posting and posting and posting, clearly they want to try and dilute the negative comments..

A tagline for boards could be contrived the lines of the things the kids say at the ad breaks on the Ray Darcy show.

It's getting nuts on the covid threads, literally banning anyone that is anti mask or restrictions, they can't stand that this is all coming out now and want to double down on their delusion.

He who shall not be named in the throes of denial, flailing about like a scorned infant. The lockdown/mandate fanatics had their fun lording it over society, now that an inquiry is announced into handling of pandemic the revisionist spin has gone into overdrive.

How can "voldemort" get away with this though ?
Surely people in charge/investors etc can see this is just killing all discussion ?
It's nuts that people are getting banned for saying :

"Senior members of NPHET agree that lockdowns were a bad idea"

Even if this isn't true (it is true btw - https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/h ... 56712.html), point out that it's not true, beat bad ideas with better ideas .. instead the post gets removed and poster banned.

Eventually all the people that post are pro pro mask and restriction and are just thanking each other for their hypochondriac hyperbole.

Below is another interesting discussion. Some of the usual suspects who have never previously posted in the GAA forum are suddenly vocal and the mods have gone quite. Which is odd as this forum would traditionally be heavily moderated

The world is upside now. Minorities are now more important than majorities. The smaller the minority group the bigger their voice. Politics is dictated those who shout loudest. It no longer matters what the democratic consensus is. Hardly worth voting on anything anymore as some minority group or other will take over the agenda anyway and twist the narrative to suit their agenda.

The government would live up your hole with health and safety legislation in the workplace or schoolyard. But a biological male now has licence to physically challenge a 15yr old girl as long as she's carrying a football. It's time for this nonsense to stop.

100% , I might just log in to thank it ... but not sure how long more it will be there before the SS agents of the ministry of truth delete the post and ban the poster.

I will say,if the GAA are doing x,y and z,by and large the country will be with them,as there's no organisation comes close to pulse of the society as them

It has half a million or so members, every village and family has members,if there is any big genuine pushback on this, the next GAA congress will show it.....it.is only thing close to being genuinely progressive in the 26 counties....even if many of its rules I wouldn't be fond of

This is what you’re dealing with,
“ So by your reckoning a girl would start on hormones or blockers anywhere from 8-11 years of age?

You think a child of that age would know they are a man trapped in a womans body ...??

Yes I do and many even know at the age of 3.”

I genuinely don’t get why people constantly conflate gender identity with a slavish adherence to outdated stereotypes.

Yeah I knew at an early age I wasn’t typically “girlie” but I’m still a straight woman in my 50s now!!!

Yes, and can you imagine if you were born 50 years later in a "progressive" society ?
What is being done to girls that are just tom boyish or maybe lesbian is an utter disgrace.

What has been done to this girl is criminal, people need to be held accountable...

I was tempted by the link to have a look and that line about 3 year olds just made me run away fast. I can't believe I used to try and make logical arguments in good faith in such a space. More fool me 😏

Oh you are sadly spot on - my lovely gay friends would be castrated and treated as girls, I'd be off for a full hysterectomy, fcking up my hormones.

And these are the people who brazenly say "you can express yourself anyway you want".

No dears thats what we COULD do before you starting gegging in!!!

Point of order.
This is the LGFA not the GAA.

You know the separate organisation that couldn't organise a major match and gave one of the teams an hour or tow notice of change of venue of major match.

But it does draw in the GAA because they use their facilities and this could have insurance implication never mind the old changing room implications.

Have to say that comment about a three year old child knowing they were in the wrong body was laughable and also scary.
Scary because it is the type of shyte being pushed by very vocal activists of this stytology.

I used to post in GAA forum but by the looks of it, it has gone to shyte.
Posters there that never usually there, know nothing about the game and only there to push this foolish agenda.

These kind of threads show how bias the moderation is over there. Shocking stuff.

They don’t care about their own rules, only enforcing their ideology. Call a regular contributor a weirdo, a rapist and an incel? No problem, just please don’t misgender some guy you’ve never met or you’ll be site banned forever.

Essentially, boards is seeing the effects of 'Astroturfing' manifest as it becomes more of an echo chamber - see the reddit article below

“ This is not unique to Reddit, but if something is repeated enough people will start to believe it and preach it themselves. Look no further than media outlets, in particular cable news channels.”

I was just thinking, “why this is so effective?” and then I remembered the monkey ladder experiment.
