I find Cricket a bizarre sport. Its the only game I know that you can play for 5 days and still end in a draw
Ah now, lighten up
Both men and women have stripped off to their birthday suit to streak across the cricket pitch at lords happy!
It'd be a whole lot more interesting if they scrapped the running around not scoring goals for an hour and a half and went straight to a penalty shoot-out. They could probably get the World Cup over and done with in a single day too, which would be great.

Cyclists who use footpaths when there is a perfectly good cycle lane beside them should have their bikes permanently confiscated
No. The rules of the road should make it okay to Clip them.
The packets of 'Sweet Corner' wine gums available from Lidl, (I especially like the green ones) have much better flavours and texture than Haribo wine gums, which are kinda bland in comparison.

Your conception of a perfectly good cycle lane may differ vastly from an actual cyclist. There are some good cycle lanes, but there are also some terrible ones that are not fit for purpose. Just sayin'.

Over the years the number of sprockets on bicycle rear wheels increased from 6 in the 80's up to 12 or even 13 today. This made the chain thinner and the tollerance for mis-aligned gears or a sticky gear cable tiny. The least thing wrong and you gears act up. My opinion is that 9 sprockets was ideal.
A lot of newer bikes are forgoing the 3 at the front and switching to 2.

You're correct. There are some awful ones. I'm talking about the the cycle lanes on Infirmary Road and Parkgate St. Which are both excellent. Yet people frequently still use the footpath
