I had a very tasty cider today, "Dan Kellys Cider". Was very nice, far superior to Bulmers and the like. Very refreshing and did not have the strong "aftertaste" some ciders have.

A pint of citrus dioralyte. Had a tray of pints last night celebrating with Cork fans after the victory over Kilkenny. I’ve a head on me like a boiled turnip this morning.

I have a really dreadful habit of waking in the hours past midnight and wanting something cold and fizzy and sweet. I don't always give in but I did last night.

Second half of post was thinly-veiled pastiche of Walter Von Mitty and "associates". Unlikely any of them (him) could distinguish a public house from a public toilet, when the extent of their (his) world is the four walls at home.

Mugeen of tae by my side, one jolt of coffee first thing in the morning is sufficient. Took a while to wean myself off the sugary drinks, I empathise with your struggle. The sauce is vice enough these days.

Only drink alcohol on special occasions and when I do, normally just the one. Never saw the interest in glugging back multiple litres of beer in one sitting. Each to their own though!

At the moment I'm having a delicious maté. Wonderfully refreshing drink that gives me all the buzz I need.

Tea, big mug. Builders. Can’t beat it.

I've probably had 10 cups of coffee so far... the day has been a feckin disaster so far.

A frosty can of whatever Aldi call their fake Lilt.

At this stage I'm afraid I'll morph into a giant coffee plant.. I've lost count of the amount of coffee I've drank today...

I may need to get a bigger mug.

had a hard day - only Tuesday I know but just had a Tyskie.. tis heavy - had not had one in years... nice though

Ribena - sugar free - it was tempting to go for a bottle of Cronin's cider from the fridge but I held out.

Had a couple of pints of Krombacher, from a 5l keg. Pricey enough for £24 , but lonely, about 7/8 pints in a keg

Cronin's cider in a Cronin's glass - another fetish of mine - can only drink beer, cider etc. out of the correct branded glass.
