Not a Spurs fan but it will be a source of debate for a long time, whether Kane would have put away the chance Son had. Personally I'd credit the keeper, he psyched Son out and Son bottled it.

Big misses happen all the time, I remember dozens from Kane through the years as well as Sonny. What you don’t see everyday is Romero pulling out of a tackle or looking nonchalant having conceded.

Methinks me smells a conspiracy theory. Maybe he's joining Man Utd in the summer and is just getting in some practice. :)

As you said yourself earlier, everybody misses at some time. Foden, much as it pains me to admit it about a City player, is the complete package. City are a phenomenal side, put the two together and any opponent will struggle.
Personally, I think Spurs gave everything they had on Tuesday, I think Ortega played a blinder, it's sickening that City can have him as a reserve keeper. I thought the Spurs midfield had the right plan, keep it narrow and force City up the flanks. All in all, I couldn't name a Spurs player who played badly and certainly not deliberately.

That’s a fair analysis and I’d agree with that but Romero goes through people all the time in this situation. He always takes ball and man. Goes to show how brave Foden is, challenging for this 50/50 at all with Romero. Apparently Postecoglou was also questioning Romero’s attitude in the dressing room afterwards. Usually he’s the first to get enraged when we concede. At half time he was joking with Haaland walking off the pitch and full time joking with pep in defeat. Very out of character for him.

Before this match he was my favourite player because he played with so much passion, passion that was sorely lacking in this game. Passion is a reflection of his attitude and I’m sure he got this attitude from people happy to lose just to hurt arsenal such as coaching staff and fans.

He does not leave the man behind when he challenges for the ball, he goes for both.
