I've been watching and reading about English football for nigh on half a century and I've never seen Everton FC in such a precarious position in the league. Sitting 18th out of 20th as of this evening and its neck and neck with them, Burnley and Leeds as to who goes down. Squeaky-bum time for the Toffees, that's for sure!

Ended up on 44 points
Sheffield United went down on 42.

Yeah, close one in 1994, that escaped me, but in the top flight since 1954, so its uncharted territory for the majority of their fans!
