Fred/Pogba should never again be the midfield 2, and Fred can't do it by himself clearly.

Whatever about the arrival of Ronaldo, United will continue to play like this until the glaring hole in the centre is addressed, the whole team and performance was unbalanced because of it.

I don't know what the answer should have been yesterday, but United's best team at the moment should have Pogba on the left of the three behind the #9 and not have him trying to contribute defensively. I think Greenwood needs to play every game, but there are too many players competing for positions in that attacking 4, and I don't know what Martial was supposed to be doing yesterday but he needs to be shipped out asap.

United were blessed Wolves can't finish.

I think Martel is ok on the left, greenwood can't play every game and it's great we have options in the front 3,but midfield is a mess,not sure one signing is even enough in the midfield

To young will be burnt out come the end of the season,have to manage his game time,he's only 19 and not fully developed yet,looks like he could be a superstar if he holds the head,great that he's not in the England squad

that sounds like nonsense to me, plenty of teenagers have played full seasons and never been "burnt out"

he has scored in every league game so far, dropping him seems to be a mental solution to whatever problems exist with team selection.

He won't play every game ,you also have ronaldo,Sancho,rashford,canavi, Martel,James,Mata, and a few more that can play top 3 and he won't play like this all year

Cavani the same, so you have to wonder what is going to happen with him, especially given he will be in South America for something like six of the next eight months, and there are quarantine rules when he comes back from international duty

Martial has been stinking the place out for months now, and should be dispatched with.

The problem of no real actual back up for Bruno, and no functioning midfielder apart from McT - neither of those issues were addressed in the window.

Pogba is the back-up for Fernandes at #10, and VDB is below that in the ranking imo

Lingard won't much of a look-in either, and really should have stayed at West Ham, he was having a great time there, that's his level

I don't understand that you don't know how contracts work

If those players don't want to leave (and it seems Lingard doesn't) then there's nothing OGS can do to force them out.

Clubs can't just unilaterally decide not to honour contracts just because a player is deemed surplus to requirements.

James looks to be heading out - but who do you think would pay c15m for Jones, for example (If we take it that 4 x 15m is the 60m you want re-invested)
